Spearfishing Hand Spears

Hand spears are very popular for beginners and are very easy to use. They do however lack the power and speed through the water of a gun.

The main two two types of hand spears are aluminium and fiberglass

Aluminium is lightweight and inexpensive. Fiberglass are heavier and therefore have more momentum through the water and are much more effective. The plated brass cluster used with fiberglass hand spears is also much stronger than the aluminium cluster head.
